Dear President Penna,
it is with great sadness that we have learnt the news of the sudden loss of Alfredo Sirkis. Please accept our heartfelt condolences on behalf of the European Green Party.
Alfredo was an unforgettable figure in the Green world, one whose impact on the credibility of environmentalism in Brazil cannot be overstated. We mourn his premature loss alongside Greens the world over.
Words are never sufficient in these situations. We hope that with time Alfredo’s loved ones can find comfort and solace in each other.
